  • You’ve got to start somewhere…

My first blog post, what do I say? What’s the purpose? And for whom?

Well, I’ve just graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class degree, two commendations, one from the dean, another from the school (did my parents proud). I think this is a good time to revive this blog, at a new chapter in my life. I’m about to start my solo(ish) travels to South America for a couple months, so the blog will start where the last one ended. Except this time I plan to keep on adding entries, as the rest will be a mystery.

Ever since graduating I’ve mostly spent my time working at Hammerton’s ferry, staying on a small 25ft boat OCD as ‘overnight security’. Where I offically work on weekends but find myself busy daily with all sorts of side jobs that moorers need, whether selling generators or stripping boats down, or handwashing them. It never stops.

When work looks like this, I find it difficult to dissasociate my social life, so this is how my nights look like

I suppose this blog won’t really be aimed at anyone other than myself, but I can see why someone may be interested in knowing about me (yes, I’m single ladies). Above all, I want to use this blog so that in the years to come, I can reconnect with the past and have a testimony to my life.

I think that’s all for now, so here’s to the start of something (sort of) new.
